Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 24, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to Influensea.com (“we,” “our,” or “us”). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website influensea.com and use our services. We are committed to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of data:
- Personal Data: Such as your name, email address, and contact details, collected when you create an account, contact us, or subscribe to our services.
- Payment Information: Billing details (handled securely by third-party payment processors).
- Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, cookies, and usage data related to how you interact with our website.
- Content and Preferences: Information you provide when using our platform, including preferences, settings, and user-generated content.
- Facebook and Instagram Data: Information about the Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts you connect to Influensea. See what we store and how to have it deleted.
3. Facebook and Instagram Data
3.1 What We Store and Why
When you connect a Facebook Page or an Instagram professional account to Influensea, we store the following data for that account:
- Account details: Such as the ID, name, username, and profile picture of each connected account, and the list of Facebook Pages, with any linked Instagram accounts, that you gave Influensea access to. We use these details to show which accounts are connected, to let you choose where each post goes, and to troubleshoot connection problems.
- Access tokens and permissions: The access tokens Facebook or Instagram issue for each connected account, their expiry dates, and the permissions you granted. We use these to publish and manage posts on your behalf.
- Posts: The posts you schedule or publish to connected accounts through Influensea, including their text, media, and scheduled times, and what Facebook or Instagram return when we publish them, such as post IDs, links, status, and error messages. We use these to schedule and publish your posts and to show you their status.
3.2 How to Disconnect Facebook or Instagram
Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts are managed on the Schedule page in Influensea. To disconnect one:
- Sign in to Influensea.
- Open "Schedule".
- Open the "Already connected" list.
- Open the menu (three vertical dots) next to the account you want to disconnect.
- Choose "Disconnect".
Workspace owners and admins manage social connections. If you are a member of a team workspace, ask an owner or admin to disconnect the account.
Disconnecting stops Influensea from using the account in that workspace. We delete the access tokens we store for it and mark the connection as revoked. If the account is connected in more than one workspace, disconnect it in each one.
Disconnecting does not delete the other data described above, such as account details and post records. To have that data deleted, request deletion as described below.
3.3 How to Request Data Deletion
Wherever you live, you can ask us to delete the Facebook and Instagram data we store. Email support@influensea.com and tell us which Facebook Pages or Instagram accounts your request covers. If you have an Influensea account, send the request from the email address you use to sign in. We may ask you to confirm that you manage those accounts. You do not need to disconnect them first.
When we process your request, we delete all Facebook and Instagram data we store for those accounts, including account details, access tokens and permissions, and records of posts published or scheduled to them, including their metadata.
Removing Influensea from your Facebook or Instagram settings does not delete the data we store. Email us to have it deleted.
3.4 What Stays on Facebook and Instagram
Disconnecting an account or having your data deleted from Influensea does not remove content already published to Facebook or Instagram. Posts Influensea published for you stay there, as do comments and profile information on your accounts. Use Facebook's and Instagram's own tools to manage or delete them.
